The story revolves around the protagonist, Yun Ruoyue, a modern-day doctor who transmigrates to ancient times. She encounters Chu Xuanchen, the former crown prince of Chu, known as the God of War and they embark on a journey of mutual accomplishment and redemption. Throughout the process of aiding Chu Xuanchen in accomplishing his goals, they help each other to overcome obstacles and work together to save Chu and the Chu people, and ultimately achieve great success.
