The Naive Leader

The rich but naive Fan Sha'er is buried alive by his own father for raiding a grain depot. After escaping, he meets Xiugu and her father, who run a hotpot restaurant. Persecuted by Master Huo and guided by the mystic Xuanjizi, he accidentally joins a bandit gang. Rising to become its leader, he forms a sworn brotherhood to uphold justice. After killing Japanese invaders, his group is integrated into the formal army. Through battlefield achievements and strict discipline, including banning gambling, he eventually grows into a division commander leading troops against the Japanese.
