It tells the story of Song Yanqi, a film and television planner with "good luck" who, in order to fulfill her KPIs, takes the rights to adapt the IP of a popular novel, and encounters with the author of the novel, Ji Shu, who suffers from an emotional disorder. Then she finds that the original sweet plot begins to collapse, and accidentally crosses into the world of her own fan fiction to change the plot, and becomes a “love bodyguard” of the fan fiction world. But she doesn't realize that the supporting cast she is always on guard against is the author, Ji Shu. The two battle it out in two worlds, reality and fan fiction world. In the process of rewriting the novel, they also grow up while injecting warmth into the novel.
