I'm Calling Off the Engagement with the Male Lead

Ye-eun, the author of the unpopular romance novel "Cinderella's Love Method," gets transported into her own story as the villainess Kang Hwan-hee, who commits evil deeds and meets a tragic end, while uploading the final chapter.

And it happens on the day she's supposed to marry the male protagonist Lee Ho-won! This marriage between the male lead Lee Ho-won and the villainess Kang Hwan-hee marks the beginning of misfortune for Ye-eun, who has possessed Hwan-hee's body. Knowing that marriage would lead to a life of endless suffering, Ye-eun (as Hwan-hee) desperately tries to escape her fate by shouting:

However, due to a prenuptial contract, breaking the marriage with the Kangho Group (the male protagonist's family) would result in a 50 billion won penalty. If she goes through with the marriage, her life will spiral into disaster as written in the novel, but she can't recklessly break off the engagement and pay 50 billion won either.

Caught in this impossible situation, Hwan-hee (Ye-eun) encounters Lee Hae-won, the older brother of the male lead Lee Ho-won, who says, "Then how about marrying me instead?" Hwan-hee reluctantly marries Hae-won with a heavy heart. This marriage gradually changes the story within the novel.
