신비한 대륙"숙천"에서 먼 옛날부터 전해 내려오는 신화가 많다. 하늘이 재난을 내려 신들이 인세로 떨어져 숙천이 분열되며 혼란에 빠진다. 몇 년 후, 소년인 전하 원일(元一)은 즉위하며 이 혼돈을 꼭 끝내겠다고 맹세한다. 원일은 혼란의 장본인이 바로 신령의 추락이라고 생각하며 미복 차림으로 궁을 떠나 신령지력(神 之力)을 가진 소녀 영롱을 찾는다. 인적이 드문 마을에서 아버지와 서로 의지하며 살아간 영롱은 어릴 때부터 어머니를 여의지만 훌륭하게 자란다. 원일의 간곡한 부탁에 영롱은 원일, 화두와 함께 마을에 떠나 숙천을 구하는 모험 여행을 떠나게 된다. 사는 정을 이길 수 없다. 마지막엔 영롱 부녀는 그들에 친구들과 함께 사악한 세력을 이기고 숙천의 밝은 미래를 되찾아낸다.
