同ドラマは、コ・ハチイチ、Shirleyヨウがデブのワンと一緒に、万険を経てタクラマカン砂漠の精絶古城遺迹に「鬼洞」を探す物語である。コ・ハチイチは政府の進めで農村に行って中蒙辺境の崗崗営子に来て、家に残っているただ一冊の本--『十六字陰陽風水秘術』を持って来た。暇になったら本の中の文字をすらすら暗記した。その後チベットに入隊したが、雪崩に遭って巨大な地溝に落ちた。コ・ハチイチは自分が知っていた墓の秘術を利用して死なずに逃げた。復員後、コ・ハチイチは親友のデブと一緒に新疆の考古に向かう考古学チームに入った。一行は万険を経てタクラマカン砂漠の精絶古城遺迹を訪れ、地下の「鬼洞」に入った。穴の中にはトリックが多く、罠が絶えない。この神秘的な鬼の穴は、一人の預言者の手にかかっているようである。

チン・ギョクロウ、ジョーグーシャオなど古い世代の「卸嶺力士」と「移山道人」が手を携えて湘西瓶山の伝奇的な物語を探求した。民国年間、軍閥が混戦し、民は安心して生活することができなかった。チン・ギョクロウは荷嶺の第一人者である。彼は軍閥のラ・ロウワイと手を組んで、湘西瓶山に入って元墓を探検した。途中で山道の運ぶ人ジョーグーシャオに出くわした。山を運ぶのは昔から財物ではなく、一族の呪いを解く塵珠を探すためだけだった。一度も手を染められたことのない元の大墓に入るために、移山、卸嶺の両大派がここで同盟を結んだ。

After returning from the Ancient Spooky City, Shirley Young found a red spot on herself and knew she was cursed by the Ghost Eye. So, Hu Bayi and his friends went to Longling Labyrinth and tried to find the Longgu Sealed Book to lift the curse. They were in danger many times, and had to fight against the mythical beast, King of Dragons with an iron head, a crowed of red-eye wolves who eat human bones, and a spider with a human face. Ultimately, they found the Longgu Sealed Book.
