China Beyond Tastes
Chen Xiaoqing, a documentary filmmaker, works on food documentaries and writing, searching for new flavors is his job. This program is the first time he goes in front of the camera to explore the stories behind the food with his own perspective. Chen travels to eight different regions in China, where he works with different guides to complete his own flavor journey. He believes that “food is not only delicious, but also a kind of adhesive that allows for more understanding and communication.”
