Eight Hundred
In the late 1990s, a mining town called Fengyang is shaken when the body of an unidentified woman is discovered. Police officer Chen Hongbing launches an investigation and soon notices that the glass fragments on the victim's neck closely resemble those from a bottle used to hold a banned drug. Not long after, while responding to a call, he discovers that someone in the town is consuming this illegal substance. Determined to uncover the truth and take down the drug trafficking ring, Chen Hongbing and his team dig deeper. But what he does not expect is that the person controlling everything behind the scenes is someone closest to him. Caught between duty and family, and torn between the law and human nature, this family and the entire town must face a test and a choice between good and evil.
