تتعرض المتدربة كيم إي-جين (كيم يي-جين) للإحباط خلال عرضها الحاسم قبل انطلاقتها الفنية، وذلك بسبب المحقق سونغ هان-غيول (سونغ هان-غيول) الذي يطارد تجار مخدرات. يصدم الاثنان، اللذان ظنا أنهما لن يتقابلا مجدداً، عندما يكتشفان أن الآخر هو ابن زوج إحداهما، وليس من نفس الدم. تثور يي-جين غضباً، وتقرر الانتقام، فتبدأ بمغازلة هان-غيول، لكنها تنجذب إليه تدريجياً. وهكذا تنشأ بينهما قصة حب محرمة ومثيرة، تكاد تكون محرمة.
