Welcome to Yoga Village

In Yugouliang, a state-level poverty-stricken village in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, all the young people here go out to work to make a living. There are only about 100 left-behind elderly people and women in the village, most of whom suffer from diseases. The film tells the story of Lu Wenzheng, a school teacher who responded to the call of the state and served as the secretary of Yugouliang Village. He led the sick old people and women in the village to practice yoga, improved the physical fitness of the villagers, and called on all households to start planting quinoa. Although there were many ironic stories in the process, Yugouliang Village finally got rid of the hat of poverty and became the well-known "China's No. 1 Yoga Village".
