The Heart

Zhou Xiaofeng is an associate chief physician of the Department of Cardiology at the Dongli Hospital. With his introverted personality and self-discipline, he is the key training target of the hospital, and is the backbone of the Department of Cardiology. He becomes a partner with Lin Yi, an outspoken cardiologist, who has different medical philosophies. Previously, Lin Yi had only focused on doing surgeries at the Xili Hospital and lacked collaboration with his colleagues, which his leader and teacher, Cao Nuoya, thought was not conducive to his growth and therefore recommended him to work at the newly established heart center at the Dongli Hospital. Zhou Xiaofeng's younger sister, Fang Xiaoran, enrolls in Dongli Hospital to become a cardiac ICU doctor in order to pursue her ambitions and to ease her brother's relationship with her mother. In the process of saving people, they have become good working partners, from not understanding to appreciating.
