In the late Qing Dynasty, pirates were rampant and people was living on the edge of starvation. Leader of Beggar Gangs Su Qier together with progressive young woman Chen Xinyi who came back from studying abroad couldn’t bear to have the people deceived, therefore they assembled militia regiment to fight against pirates. However, pirates colluding with Japanese resulted in militia regiment’s complete destruction. In facing of internal and external attack, Su Qier called for patriots of all sides to withstand foreign enemy. In the period of national calamity, female pirate gangs led by Madam Zheng forsook darkness for light, choosing to guard their homeland together and initiated final desperate battle with the evil enemy.
