Habibie & Ainun

Rudy Habibie, an aircraft expert, has a huge dream: creating a flying truck that can unite Indonesia. Ainun is a smart, young doctor with her whole career wide open. In 1962 these two friends of junior high school meet again in Bandung. Habibie is instantly swept off his feet whereas Ainun not only falls in love but also believes in Habibie’s dream and vision. They get married and fly to Germany. Their love grows in a journey to build a dream. The cold German’s snow, sacrifice, pain, loneliness and power’s or treasure’s temptation as they return to Indonesia accompany the two lives that become one.
