Devil River
In the early Republican era, a river in northern Jiang was known for claiming exactly five lives each year in mysterious drownings. Over time, locals began calling it the âFive-Soul River.â A folk's saying spread: âIf the moon doesnât show, no one should go. Little ghosts roam the riverâs flow.â Three people had already died this year. But when Master Ba arrived, the strange events finally began to take a turn.
