The Long March of Princess Changge
In A.D. 626, the inner disorder happened in the royal family, and Li Changge, the daughter of the former royal prince, escaped by chance and went to Youzhou for help. On the way, Changge encountered Ashina Sun from the grassland tribe Teqin, who used pseudonym of Qin Zhun. No discord, no concord, they gradually developed respect for each other. Changge then smashed a conspiracy in Youzhou, and at the same time her identity was revealed and she went to Shuozhou to escape fatal disaster. She hid by Gong Sunheng, prefecture chief of Shuozhou, to help him resist the invasion of grassland tribes, but unexpectedly discovered the general on the other side was Qin Zhun. Changge was shocked and distressed, fighting vigorously against the Ashina Sun. However, Shuozhou alone eventually fell without any support. Changge willingly became a prisoner of war for the overall situation and was escorted to the grassland, but unexpectedly learned that Great Khan had other ambitions. Changge decided to temporarily let off her personal enmity, trying to break the situation by taking risks, but she was finally near the gates of death. Ashina Sun did not hesitate to fight against Great Khan to save Changge, but they two were unexpectedly separated from each other. Changge went into exile and gradually understood the truth that the benevolent is invincible, and finally let go of her personal grievances. After discovering that the former Sui forces were the initiator of evil, Changge and Ashina Sun jointly protect the peace between Tang Dynasty and the grassland. The two finally recognized their affections for each other and worked together to overcome the crisis.
